Elon Musk Working On AI At Twitter Despite Calling For 6-Month Pause: Report

Elon Musk as of late marked a letter requiring a six-month stop on the improvement of all man-made consciousness innovation, as was broadly detailed a month ago.

Yet, that hasn't prevented Musk from putting vigorously in computer-based intelligence improvement for Twitter, as per another report from Insider.

Musk has as of late employed artificial intelligence engineers from Letter set's exploration firm DeepMind, including Igor Babuschkin and Manuel Kroiss, as per Insider.

Furthermore, obviously, he's searching for others to assist Musk with getting his own computer-based intelligence programming going at Twitter.

Musk's improvement of his own computer-based intelligence, known as a huge language model, is still in "the beginning phase," as per Insider.

Furthermore, that checks out when you check out at Musk's set of experiences with the innovation. The extremely rich person has had a couple of premature moves with man-made intelligence and is obviously attempting to play make up for lost time.

Musk co-founded OpenAI, which makes ChatGPT, in 2015 and reportedly butted heads with co-founder Sam Altman. Musk moved to take over OpenAI in 2018 but the board didn’t like that and left the company. This likely explains why Musk is calling for a six month pause. The Twitter CEO has to realize he’s behind everyone else right now.

Musk has also reportedly purchased a number of expensive computers from Nvidia in his AI arms race with Google and OpenAI. Artificial intelligence requires increasingly costly GPUs to work, which can become an expensive endeavor to do right.

Insider posits a number of potential uses for AI technology at Twitter, such as enhancing the search function and advertising capabilities.

Given that Musk has frightened away a lot of major advertisers since taking over the company in October 2022, this makes perfect sense.

According to a recent report from Semafor, representatives at companies like Kroger and Colgate are even concerned about appearing in public with Musk due to his controversial remarks and public persona that can, at best, be described as juvenile.

As Musk is expected to be the main attraction at the Possible Conference next week in Miami, Twitter CEO hopes that someone will inquire about the most recent reports regarding the billionaire's AI development.

Because Musk has not exactly been forthcoming about the reasons he signed the letter requesting a six-month pause.

On Tuesday, Musk created an automated response for Twitter that included a poop emoji, which Musk appears to be very proud of. However, it addresses why publicists are apprehensive about being seen with the tycoon.
